Good morning, Quilters!
Guess what?! The staff at The Quilt Store have begun cutting our block kits for the exclusive NOCO Shop Hop quilt!!! That's right! NOCO Shop Hop is right around the corner--June 5-14th! Mark your calendar! Every shop will have the same hours all week, including Sunday, from 9am to 6pm.
Each store will have a free block pattern, and a limited number of block kits for sale, to complete the shop hop quilt. The 3 Eastern-most stores, Holyoke, Fort Morgan and Julesburg will each have TWO blocks, so make sure you make the trip out East to see them too!
And... April 1st there will be a BIG announcement on the NOCO Shop Hop Facebook Page! Make sure you tune in! :)
PLUS each store will have giveaways, prizes, demos, and more! It will be a great time! We can't wait to see you during NOCO Shop Hop!

NEW! Beginning English Paper Piecing--April 3rd, 10am to 1pm
In this hands-on class, you will learn the art of English Paper Piecing (EPP), a beloved quilting technique that involves stabilizing fabric pieces with paper templates before hand sewing them together into intricate and stunning designs. EPP is particularly effective for shapes with y-seams, like ever-popular hexagons. Do you want to learn the art of Quilting?! In this class you will learn how to pick fabrics for your quilt, use a rotary cutter for accurate cutting and sew your quilt together with a quarter inch seam. Beginning Hand Embroidery -- May 1st, 10am to 1pm

Jelly Roll Rug Class -- May 17th, 1:00pm-5:00pm
Would you like to learn how to make something new on your sewing machine? Learn to make a rug! In class you will learn how to make a rug or placemat using Jelly Roll strips and batting. Using a unique technique of folding the strips and then attaching the strips together, you make a wonderful rug that is washable! Learn more and sign up here!
Flawless Binding-- May 31st, 10:30am-1:30pm
Sewing binding is easier than you think! Join Jo to learn how to complete your quilts with several flawless binding techniques that will help you put the finishing touch on any quilt. Sign up here!
Registration Now Open! Kids' Sewing Camp-- 3 sessions in June & July-- 4 Days, 4 projects!
Kids' Sewing Camp is a 4 day class series, open to kids aged 10-17 years. This year we are making an ice cream pint koozie, a candy bag zipper pouch, a notebook cover, and a lunchbox! Learn more and sign up here!

Cancellation and Refund Policy: 72 hour cancellation for refund on class cost on all classes. If a cancellation needs to occur within the 72 hour window (we know life happens!), we will only refund if we are able to fill your spot with someone on our waitlist. No refunds on cut fabric, kits, books, patterns, or pantographs. Thank you for your understanding!

Arriving in June, Jen Kingwell's Pick-a-Petal block of the month will be coming to The Quilt Store! Registration for this BOM (or Template of the Month) is open now! We can't wait to start this beautiful project with you. Join our Club and make friends who are working on this project too!
Turn your Stash into $$$ Cash $$$!
Stash to Cash is on the Calendar for May 17th, 8am-noon. During this sale event, sellers are invited to sell their 2nd hand craft supplies in a yard sale-style booth sale. If you'd like to be a vendor and turn your STASH into CASH, at our annual parking lot sale, please reserve your booth here. Sellers are required to sign up and provide their own money management systems, tables, chairs, tents etc.
Buyers just need to show up to shop the sewing and craft stashes of your fellow creatives for bargain prices, rare items, and cool finds!
Quilt and Care Together--The Quilt Store's charity quilting circle
We have scheduled our sewing days for the year if you would like to join us. They are April 26th, July 26th, and Oct 25th. We meet at North Metro Church, 12505 Colorado Blvd from 10am-3pm.
We donate our quilts to ABC Quilts whose mission is to give love, comfort, security, and warmth to infants, children and youth. We provide small quilts to various county and private agencies to be given to children in crisis or need. We also provide a welcoming atmosphere to our volunteers by fostering creativity, learning and the preservation of the art of quilting. Click here to learn more about this charity.
