Beginning Foundation Paper Piecing Class-- November 23rd, 2:30-4:30pm
Lacey loves to paper piece and is so excited to teach you! Foundation paper piecing is a great method to achieve perfect points and intricate designs. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who needs a refresher. Learn More and Sign Up Here!
Beginning Quilting Class-- 4 Saturdays: Nov. 23, Dec. 7 & 21, Jan 4, 9:30am-1pm
You will learn how to pick fabrics for your quilt, use a rotary cutter for accurate cutting, and sew your quilt together with a quarter inch seam. You will finish the class with a completed quilt top! Learn More and Sign Up Here!

Meet Dana!
Dana (pronounced "Day-na" --not to be confused with Dawna, the boss) is on our longarm team and works at the cut table. She has been quilting since 1985, when she taught herself to quilt by cutting scraps of denim at a summer camp where she worked. About 20 years ago she took a quilting class at The Quilt Store with the original owners, Lu and Anne, and has had "the quilting bug" ever since!! She says she loves fun, cute, and modern prints with blues, greens and Fall colors--though she has branched out a lot since working at The Quilt Store.
Dana has worked for The Quilt Store since March of 2024 and has loved learning how to operate "Gerta," our longarm machine, but her real passion is helping people. Dana has one of the biggest hearts here at the shop; she is always looking for ways to help our customers and the wider community. At her church she has started a "Blanket Blessings" quilting group that creates quilts for kids and families facing hardship. She says, "I always ask myself, 'Who can I help and how can I make the world better today?'" We have seen, first hand, how caring Dana is with greiving customers who need help with memorial quilts, or helping families find homes for quilting supplies after a quilter has passed. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful, caring person on our team; Dana makes the store feel like a welcoming home for all quilters!
