Beginning Foundation Paper Piecing Class-- October 26th, 1-3pm

Scrap Crumb Class-- November 2nd, 2-5pm
Explore making “Scrap Crumb Blocks.” Learn how to make colorful, cheerful, “crazy quilt” style quilt blocks without a pattern, and without measurements, all from the “crumbs” of fabric scraps you already have. Learn More and Sign Up Here!

Beginning Quilting Class-- 4 Saturdays: Nov. 23, Dec. 7 & 21, Jan 4, 9:30am-1pm
You will learn how to pick fabrics for your quilt, use a rotary cutter for accurate cutting, and sew your quilt together with a quarter inch seam. You will finish the class with a completed quilt top! Learn More and Sign Up Here!

Kim Diehl's 2025 Simple Whatnots "Scrap Basket Favorites" is about to kick off in January and you do not want to miss out on these unique projects! You can only get these fabulous mini quilt patterns through the Simple Whatnots Club, exclusively available at The Quilt Store!
We have Fat Quarter or 1/2 yard fabric bundle options, which include patterns for these 8 gorgeous mini quilts. By signing up for our optional "Club" as well, you'll also have access to a group of quilters working on the same projects with the help of our Staff expert, Cindy. 2nd Saturday Mystery Skill Builder-- Saturday Nov. 9th!

Last year, Dawna and Fran's 2nd Saturday Skill Builder "Land That I Love," a patriotic theme, was a smash hit! Many participants have already signed up again to participate in the Spring-Themed mystery skill builder, which kicks off in this Saturday! Mystery at Twilight-- November 15th 5:30-8:30pm
Dawna and "Mama" Fran are bringing their mother-daughter quilting super powers to Broomfield for a "Mystery at Twilight" Mystery quilt! We are going to have some fantastic surprises for the quilters who participate in this fun event! Make sure you don't miss it! Sign up here!

Meet Kathy!
The welcoming committee and comedic relief, Kathy is the Cut Counter Queen! She is always happy to help out and keeps things light at The Quilt Store. She has worked here for 2 1/2 years, since she retired from her 37 year career as a labor and delivery nurse. Kathy's favorite part about working at The Quilt Store is getting to know our regular customers and having fun with her coworkers. Quilting is a relaxing hobby for Kathy and she enjoys how it "keeps the brain moving."
She began her quilting journey when Dawna introduced her to the hobby while they were both still working in the Labor and Delivery department. Initially, Kathy was in drawn in by the vibrant clors and patterns of batik fabrics, but has since branched out to a wide variety of styles and techniques. She says she doesnt really have a "favorite" style, per se, just finds inspiration where ever it strikes.
While she loves quilting, she also enjoys a great book and spending time with her 3 kids and 3 grandsons! Next time you're in, make sure you say "hi" and give her a good book recommendation!
