Foundation Paper Piecing

Learn the Basics of Foundation Paper Piecing for precise points and intricate designs. In this class we will be using paper foundation patterns from the book "Teach me How to Paper Piece" to make striped hearts (as pictured).

Required supplies:

-The Book "Teach Me How to Paper Piece"
-Add-a-quarter PLUS ruler  (6" and/or 12")

-Your machine with power, thread, and bobbin (whatever color you normally piece with is great!)
-a rotary cutter and small rotary mat.
-a seam roller; or a small iron with wool mat.
-a seam ripper
-snips/scissors
-Fabric: bring at least a fat-quarter of background fabric, plus an assortment of scraps (about 5"x2" minimum) for your heart shapes. 5"x5" charms work great for this project, too.
