Foundation Paper Piecing



Learn the Basics of Foundation Paper Piecing for precise points and intricate designs. 

For this class, you will also need (sold separately): 

-The Book "Teach Me How to Paper Piece"
-Add-a-quarter ruler  (6" or 12") or you are prepared to buy one the day of class-- this is a must have! 
-Your machine with power, thread, and bobbin (whatever color you normally piece with is great!)
-a rotary cutter and small rotary mat. 
-a pressing tool like this one; or a small iron with wool mat. 
-a seam ripper 
-snips/scissors
-Fabric: bring at least a fat-quarter of background fabric, plus an assortment of scraps about 5"x2" minimum for your heart shapes. See the attached photos for examples of past students' hearts. 



**All Classes have a 72 hour cancellation policy. Cancellations within 72 hours of the class date will not be refunded unless the seat can be filled by the waitlist.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Beginner Foundation Paper Piece, must be comfortable with sewing machine and basic sewing.
Materials Included: Book with FPP patterns
Requirements: Bring your sewing machine with cord and pedal; scissors; matching thread; pressing tool; Add-a-Quarter ruler; rotary cutter; small cutting mat; 5" fabric scraps for hearts and 5" fabric scraps for background.

Instructor Bio: Lacey loves to paper piece and has made several quilts using this method. She is excited to share all she has learned.
